The fastest way to a team’s heart is cooking together in the kitchen. This one-day team-building workshop supports the growth and development of high-performance teams and effective teamwork by engaging the group in the strategic choices that represent the fundamentals of sharing a meal: planning, decision-making, accomplishing specific tasks together, and providing service to one another.
Working with an experienced chef and a process facilitator, the team will be challenged to think about, enact collaboratively, and enjoy the fruits of their work together. This kind of experiential learning supports the theory and application of effective teamwork in all settings: private and public sector, large corporate teams, and smaller entrepreneurial enterprises.
The fundamentals of high-performance T.E.A.M.S. (Targets, Expertise, Accountability, Mutuality, Synergy) will all be put into play in the experience of preparing and sharing a meal. The shared time together, filled with laughter, mistakes, successes, and excitement are underscored by being in a professional kitchen set in the elegance and beauty of the historic Waring House in Prince Edward County. It will be an unforgettable experience for everyone who participates.
Bring your group into The Waring House Cookery School kitchen and have your team return home with renewed energy, insights, and the profoundly pleasant memory of a glorious four-course meal that they planned themselves, cooked together, and served to one another.
