scape to beautiful Prince Edward County for your next business meeting, conference, seminar, or team-building exercise.

A tranquil setting, within a convenient drive from Toronto, Montreal, Kingston, Ottawa, and New York State, The Waring House offers contemporary meeting, conference, and banquet facilities for groups of eight to two hundred people in four on-site locations.  Waring Hall seats up to two hundred people, while the historic Prince Edward Room, Amelia’s Garden dining room, and the sitting room of the House Next Door will appeal to smaller groups.   Wireless high speed Internet service is available.

The Waring House, situated in the centre of ‘the County’, offers guests an opportunity to taste the hospitality and charm of an elegant Ontario farmstead of the 1860’s.  This quiet and peaceful island, just south of Belleville, is one of Ontario’s loveliest rural areas and a burgeoning wine destination.  Decorated with Prince Edward County memorabilia and domestic antiques of the era, The Waring House invites visitors to relax after a day of meetings and experience the pleasures of a time gone by.

In addition to comfortable meeting facilities and charming accommodation, visitors can enjoy relaxed dining in Amelia’s Garden.  The menu features regional cuisine brought to perfection under the direction of Executive Chef Luis de Sousa.  The inn’s Barley Room offers British and traditional pub fare all day long and live entertainment on Wednesdays, weekends, and special occasions. A fine selection of draft beer, single malt scotch, fine wines and County Cider await you at the Barley Room.  Meals for larger groups may be selected from a diverse banquet menu and Chef de Sousa is always willing to work with meeting organizers to plan suitable menus and to meet the special dietary requirements of individuals.
